Incredible dad, husband, son, and valued friend
Adam Lawrence Goldenberg, 32, passed away suddenly on Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, in West Windsor, N.J. Born at Muhlenberg Hospital in Plainfield, N.J., he grew up in Warren, N.J. Most recently, he resided in Plainsboro, N.J., over the last two years.
Adam was a graduate of the Pingry School in Martinsville, N.J. He attended Cornell University and subsequently received an associate's degree in management from the Culinary Institute of America.
Restaurants were his passion ever since he was a young child, and at age 15 he was managing the local ice cream parlor. He enjoyed the atmosphere and challenge of the restaurant industry, where his personality and people skills made him successful in many food service endeavors, including working with the prestigious Harvest Group as a director of training, manager, and GM in several restaurants. After relocating to Plainsboro with his young family, he most recently was the general manager for Panera Bread Company in West Windsor.
His greatest joy in life was spending time with his wife and children - cooking, playing games, and having fun. He was adored by his family and was a truly incredible dad, husband, and son as well as a valued and respected true friend.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cordelia Schore; children, Logan Samuel and Liliana Rosie Goldenberg; parents, David and Janis (Waskover) Goldenberg; brother, Noah Jonathan and Candice (Bolton) Goldenberg; grandmother, Sylvia Waskover.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, N.J. 07069. Interment will follow at Cedar Park and Beth El Cemeteries, 735 Forest Ave., Paramus, N.J. 07652. To send condolences, go to higginsfuneralhome.com.
