Was called home on December 28, 2018 at the age of 94. Loving mother of Clarence Bruce, Maria Bruce-Glover (Alan), Phyllis I. B. Van Hoose; and grandchildren Walita Wilkins, Collin Bruce (Jacki), Veronica Bruce, Dominique Morton (John), Melissa Toye (Ronnie), Ciera Van Hoose; eight great grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1500 9th St., NW, Washington, DC. Viewing will start at 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Interment immediately following the service at National Harmony Memorial Park. Services are entrusted to R. N.
