June 17, 1932 - December 16, 2018 Carol was eulogized to a large audience of family and friends on Sunday, 12/23/2018 at Mount Sinai Memorial Park, officiated by Cantor Perryne Anchor. Carol was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on June 17, 1932, to Jack Kohl and Bess Kohl. She moved with her family to Los Angeles in 1942. She attended Canfield Elementary, Louis Pasteur Junior High, and Hamilton High. She worked for Prudential Insurance company and Kaplan collection among others. She married Nathan Peiman and they just recently celebrated 60 years of marriage. She had two children, Stephen Peiman (who passed away) and Michelle Evans Peiman. She is survived by Nathan, Michelle Evans, Michelle's daughter Taira Graves, Taira's son Kyler Graves and her older brother Ramon Kohl. Carol loved people and made them feel like family. Once you were her friend it was for a lifetime. She was a generous person who gave her all. She loved dancing, her lunches with friends, traveling, her pets, playing cards and the time she spent with family and friends. She had an infectious laugh and a beautiful smile and beside her gentle nature, she was one tough cookie. Rest in Peace Carol – we shall always remember to cherish and love you.
