Dr Roger died peacefully on February 11th, aged 91, at the Whittington Hospital, North London, where he spent most of his career. He was the loving husband of the late Molly, father of Michael, Helen and Oliver, grandfather of 10, and a lifelong Telegraph reader. The Service will be held at St Mary-at-Finchley Church, 26 Hendon Lane, Finchley, London N3 1TR, on March 7th at 11 a.m. No flowers, please, but donations, if desired, to the RSPB.
