Richard Arthur, Major (Retd) Royal Signals, died peacefully at Springfield House Nursing Home on 13th March, aged 89, after a long illness. Much loved husband of Gill and father of Richard and Elizabeth, and grandfather of Laura, Lily and Kieran. Private family funeral on 30th March. No flowers please but donations, if desired, to the Alzheimer's Society. A remembrance mass and celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
