Simon Ewen, aged 88, devoted husband of Mary, much loved father of Nick, Priscilla, Juliet and Silas, grandfather and great grandfather, died in Hewish, North Somerset on Tuesday 17th March shortly after the announcement that formal church was to cease and was buried in Healaugh, North Yorkshire on Sunday 22nd March on the day the nation was called to prayer.
