Bessie L. Sanders

Bessie L. (Conover) Sanders 89 of Sparta died peacefully on Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
Born in Newark, she resided in East Hanover over 50 years before moving to Sparta 10 years ago. Bessie was employed as a Unit Clerk at St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston for 20 years prior to her retirement in 1993. She was a member of the Kitchell Memorial Presbyterian Church in East Hanover and a member of the Sparta Seniors.
Bessie is predeceased by her husband, Arthur J. Sanders Jr. in 2008, by a granddaughter, Megan Casey and by two sisters, Dorothy Holgate and Shirley Deubel. She is survived by a son, Steven Sanders and wife, Mary of East Hanover, by two daughters, Karen Casey and husband, Donald of Hopatcong and Pamela Ciasullo and husband, Christopher of Ogdensburg and by three grandchildren, Robert Casey and fiancé, Emilie Ward, Candace Ciasullo and fiancé, Keith Yearwood and Christopher Ciasullo Jr.
