GILILLAND, Evelyn Inez Bransom Evelyn, age 102, born in Bethel, Texas on July 5, 1917 to Martha and Charlie Bransom passed away March 29, 2020. Preceded in death by husband of 37 years, Newt, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Survivors: son Jim (wife Han), daughters Jean Wolfe (husband Wade), Royce Piper (husband James), grandchildren Crissy Gililland, Wes Wolfe, Wende Abrahm, Brian Piper, Jeff Piper, Rebecca White (and spouses), and 9 great grandchildren. Evelyn was a graduate of The Masonic Home in Ft. Worth and Tarleton Jr. College. She served her country for 2 years as a sergeant in the U. S. Army. She worked for Southland Life Ins. Co. and was a member of Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church. Memorials may be made to the , Presbyterian Hollow Presbyterian Church or Faith Presbyterian Hospice. The family gives thanks and praises to the loving caregivers at Presbyterian Village North and Faith Presbyterian Hospice.
