REES, Bethel Adams Bethel Adams Rees, 97, of Richardson, Texas passed away on March 19, 2020, in Richardson, Texas. She was born on April 28, 1922, to her loving and thoughtful parents Noah and Virgie Adams in Noble, Louisiana. She married Morgan Rees on August 25, 1959 in Great Lakes, Illinois. Bethel was a wonderful wife and mother. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star, and Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church. She served as a Coast Guard from 1943 to 1946. Bethel is survived by her daughter, Darlene Maxwell (David) of Caddo Mills, Texas, and grandchildren, Kristen Maxwell and Jamie Maxwell, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morgan Rees, her sisters, Irene Dowty, Margarette Doxey, Lillie Johnson, and Lois Webb, and her brothers, N.T. Adams and Leslie Adams. Special thanks to caregivers, Sylvia, Brian, and Abigail. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Restland Wildwood Chapel, located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243.
