Erwin 'E' Schwartz
Wonderful father, grandfather, devoted uncle and friend
Erwin "E" Schwartz died suddenly on March 15, 2020, in Englishtown, N.J. He was 89 years young.
He was a graduate of Syracuse University, and earned a Masters in Finance from the Wharton School of Business. An Army veteran, he served his country honorably during the Korean War. He owned a business, Schwartz's Shoes in Rahway, N.J., and later on, sold stocks and bonds. He retired at the age of 88.
He is survived by his three children: Karen, Jeffrey and Douglas, from his first marriage, and by four grandchildren. He adored his two sisters, Marion and Rosalyn, who predeceased him. He loved people, had many lifelong friends and was a wonderful father and grandfather.
Due to the pandemic, services and shiva were limited to the immediate family. In lieu of flowers and food, the family requests donations be directed to their local first aid squads and hospitals.
