Karen Marie Sapienza
She loved being with her family and going out to eat
Karen Marie Sapienza, 60, of Marlboro, N.J., passed away peacefully at home on March 15, 2020.
Born in Belleville, N.J., she resided in North Arlington, N.J., most of her life before moving to Marlboro, where she lived with her sister and her family.
In spite of her disabilities, Karen managed to keep an active mind by completing puzzles, word searches and reading the Sunday paper. She loved going out to eat and being with her family.
Karen was predeceased by her parents, Catherine (Badaracco) and James Sapienza. She is survived by her sister, Lisa and her husband Peter; her nephews and niece, James, Giana and Frank, and many loving cousins and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Queen of Peace, 10 Franklin Pl., North Arlington, N.J., at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 19. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington at 12 noon.
