Born in Livingston, N.J., Barbara lived in Kearny, N.J., and Glen Ridge, N.J., before moving to Budd Lake, N.J., in 2000.
Visiting will be on Friday, March 13, 2020, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. The funeral service will be at 6 p.m. and private cremation will follow.
Barbara owned and ran her family business, Parsons Appliances, in Kearny for many years.
Wife of Jack Allison, Barbara was the beloved mother of Cameron Allison (Janet) and Alexandra Barreiro (Paul); sister of Gayle Pederson, Debbie Tornfelt and Crystal Sinclair; also surviving are her grandchildren, Caleb, Olivia, Tucker and John Paul.
