East Hanover resident; Liturgy of Christian Burial is Saturday
Domenica F. (nee-Marchesano) Suriano, 98 years young, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at Morristown Medical Center.
She was born and raised in Jersey City, N.J., Domenica lived in Newark and West Caldwell before moving to East Hanover, N.J., 17 years ago. She was a traffic guard for the Newark Police Department for many years before retiring.
Domenica was predeceased by her husband, Anthony, who passed away on Dec. 18, 2003.
Survivors include her son, Phil and his wife, Helen; her daughters, Cathy Parlapiano and her husband, Joe and Marrianne Cattafi and her husband, Ron; her brothers, Dr. Joseph Marchesano and Jack Marchesano and his wife, Vera; her nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Liturgy of Christian Burial to be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 7 at St. Joseph Church, 216 Comly Rd, Lincoln Park, N.J. Entombment is at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J.
Visiting hours will be on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Rd., Parsippany, N.J. (973)887-3235 or visit partroyfuneralhome.com.
