Annemarie Stahl, 90, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2020. She was born on September 29, 1929 in Flensburg, Germany to Anna and Paul Bleicken. She enjoyed music, tennis, travel, reading and spending time with friends and family. Annemarie served on the Quadrille board of the Germanistic Society of America in New York City for over 20 years, raising scholarships for the exchange of American and German graduate students. Annemarie is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Peter Stahl. They met on a train when they were thirteen and fifteen years old and have been a devoted couple since then. They moved from New Jersey to Lake Forest five years ago to be close to family. She was a loving mother to her daughter Ingrid (Brian) Bryzinski, proud of her grandson Christian (Kaitlin) Bryzinski, and thrilled to be able to enjoy her great-grandsons Campbell and William. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 29 at 11 am in the Vail Room at Lake Forest Place, 1100 Pembridge Drive, Lake Forest, IL.
