LUECKE, Gerald Age 94, of Rockwall, TX, passed away on January 26, 2020. Born April 10, 1925, in Will Township, Illinois to Edwin Luecke and Alma Westenfeldt. He was a devout Christian, loving husband, caring father and grandfather. He pioneered the Integrated Circuit application at TI and authored many technical books and videos during his 32 year tenure and thereafter. He was an original member of Messiah Lutheran in Richardson and a founding member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Rockwall. Gerald leaves behind his loving wife Velma, three sons, Gerald, Douglas, and Stephen, a daughter, Margaret Farrington, a step-daughter, Donna Unett, three step-sons, Monty, Gerald, and Don Hubbard, 11 Luecke grandkids, and 8 great grandkids, 6 Hubbard grandkids and 5 great grandkids. He will be interred at Rest Haven Cemetery, Rockwall, TX. In lieu of flowers, Gerald requests donations to Our Savior Lutheran, Rockwall or .
