Alma Thomas Kupp
Died
KUPP, Alma Thomas Alma Thomas Kupp went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 15, 2020 in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 94. The daughter of West Texas farmers, Alma was born September 1, 1925 in Bomarton, Texas. She met the love of her life, Al Kupp, while working at the Army Air Force Base in Childress, Texas. They married September 1, 1944, and shared life together for nearly 7 decades. In 1949, Al and Alma joined Park Cities Baptist Church where she served cheerfully in many roles, including that of soloist in the Sanctuary Choir for many years. To remember Alma is to remember her positive voice - singing, talking, interested in others. Alma invested in people, not things. One repeated description is that she never complained, despite dealing with Parkinson's Disease for more than 15 years. Alma deeply loved her family. She is survived by three children: Nancy Moss and husband Barney, Carlton Kupp and wife Joy, and Ken Kupp and wife Kristie; grandchildren Ben Moss and wife, Courtney, Spencer Moss and wife, Whitney, Samuel Kupp, Alex Kupp, Jake Kupp, Kali Kupp and Carson Kupp. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2pm at Park Cities Baptist Church, Ellis Chapel, 3933 NW Pkwy, Dallas, on Friday, January 31. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Park Cities Baptist Church Senior Adults, or Hardin-Simmons University Albert and Alma Kupp Endowed Scholarship.
