Bessie "faye" Stanfield
Died
STANFIELD, Bessie "Faye" Bessie "Faye" Stanfield was born on January 27, 1921 to Lon and Millie May Price. Throughout her long and blessed life of ninety-eight years, she touched many lives through her positions at work and church. As a faithful servant of the Lord, she served as a role model of great strength and faith, with an overwhelming capacity to love and a devotion to putting others first. She was committed to reading and meditating on God's word daily and reflected a life transformed into His image. Her legacy is five generations of family and decades of friends who were touched by her generosity and love. Her love of life carried on through her hobbies. She loved to garden, read, work crossword puzzles and bake chocolate pies for her family. Her family meant everything to her and she was especially proud to be a grandmother, and even more thrilled when she became a great-grandmother, and then twice great. She was always available to offer love and support to the family who were always first in her thoughts. She is survived by a brother, Earl Price from Rockwall, Texas and a daughter Patsy Stanfield Stephens and husband George Stephens; her four grandchildren Teresa Brinkley/Jim Brinkley, Tammye Britain/Chad Lorang, Don Patrick Morgan and Daniel Morgan/Marie Morgan; great-grandchildren, Heather Brinkley, Derek Britain/Sarah Britain, Scott Brinkley, Taylor Nowak/Tamra Nowak, Macey Morgan, Taylor Morgan, Jacob Nowak/Ally Nowak and Kacey Morgan; great-great-grandchildren Ava Baldridge, Tristan Shane, Dallas Shane, Levi Britain, Presley Nowak, Olivia and Raleigh Britain. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Clarence "CJ" Stanfield, and by six brothers and sisters. Viewing to be held on December 23rd from 1100-1200 at Lavon Baptist Church, Lavon, Texas, followed by a Memorial Service at 1pm.
