BICZYNSKI, Andrew L Andrew L Biczynski, long time Dallas resident, died Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at home in the arms of his wife and family. Born Andrzej Ludwik in Lublin, Poland, March 1, 1926, Andre' was a courier in the Polish Underground Army in WWII. Gestapo arrested him at age 17 in 1943 just before his first piano recital. In later years Andre' reconnected with his liberators, including some from the Dallas area, and spoke at their final reunion. His title: A Grateful Survivor. Andre' and Pat were married for 61 years. Proud of his four children- John, Dr. Margaret B. Christensen, Michael and Chris- he boasted "good production, Biczynski!" The family's 13th move was to Dallas in 1973, where he represented perfume mfrs. until retirement. Andre taught the love of travel, languages, poetry, food, and music to his kids, 10 grandchildren, and 4 g-grandkids, who all adored him as their funny, crazy Dziadzio who could wiggle his ears.
