Newcastle, WA - Antoinette Frances Oreck, known as Toni, passed away peacefully Friday, November 8, 2019.
Toni enjoyed a long residency on Mercer Island where she raised her family, played tennis, and owned a successful wedding invitation and stationery business. Later in life, she resided at Regency Newcastle where she was surrounded by many loving friends and caring, supportive staff.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Susan Rose Cook and her husband David Cook, devoted grandsons, Jason Lee and Nicholas Joseph Conover, nephews, Scott and Bruce Tobias and their father, Bob Tobias. Predeceasing her are parents, Alice and Harry Gerber, sister, Mitzi Tobias, devoted daughter, Linda Lee Oreck, and ex-husband George Oreck, who always remained her good friend.
Toni will be remembered for her sense of humor, her love of the Seahawks, as well as a strong appreciation for a good martini and a rare steak.
A private service will be held for the family.
