Adeline "Addy" Corcoran (nee DeFranco), 97, died Sept. 18, 2019.
Born in Orange, N.J., she lived in West Orange, N.J., for 20 years and then North Arlington, N.J., for 55 years, before moving to Roseland, N.J., in 2015.
She worked for 37 years as a coordinator in the editing department of the Western Electric Corporation in Kearny, N.J., before retiring in 1978. Addy was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Bergen and Passaic chapter, and a volunteer at West Hudson Hospital in Kearny for 25 years.
Addy was the wife of the late Thomas; cherished sister of the late Mary Perella, Joe, Nick and Philip DeFranco, and the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be held at the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Rd., North Arlington, on Sunday, Sept. 22, from 2 to 6 p.m. No services will take place on Monday. On Tuesday Sept. 24, everyone is invited to meet at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church , North Arlington, for the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., followed by the interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
