WOOD, Becky Ann Becky Ann Adair Wood, 71, passed away October 4, 2019. She was born January 4, 1948, in Dallas, Texas. She was the oldest daughter of Howell and Virginia (Burleson) Adair of Dallas, Texas. Becky was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, cousin and friend. Her love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and her family were the cornerstone of her life. She was a mighty prayer warrior for those she loved. Becky leaves a strong legacy of love and faith to her children, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Becky graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1965 and attended Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. She married Donald Duane Wood in 1967 and had two sons, Scott Adair and Craig Clinton. Becky was extremely proud of her sons and their accomplishments, both in life and in business. She was extremely close to her sisters and delighted in telling stories of their childhood and growing up on Norway Road, as well as the joys of raising their children together. Becky was a talented interior designer making homes and lives more beautiful for her clients, family and friends through her business, Classique Concepts, for more than 30 years. She had a special gift for creating and designing custom draperies. This gift was evident in her many detailed sketches that included details in her beautiful and exquisite cursive lettering. Throughout the years, many of her clients became treasured friends. Affectionately known as Kiki, her grandchildren will always remember their time sewing and crafting with their grandmother. She found great joy in picking them up from school and watching their sporting events. Becky was preceded in death by her parents Howell Reynolds Adair and Virginia Burleson Adair. She is survived by her son Scott, his wife Alicia and their daughters Laurel, Chloe, and Helena, her son Craig, her sisters Elaine Atkins and her family; and Tina Edwards and her family and cousins who were like brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. Becky will be laid to rest at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, TX. A memorial service will be held for her at Park Cities Baptist Church on Tuesday, Oct 8 at 11:30 am.
