Blanche F. Ulicny Kucinski, 95, of Maplewood, N.J., passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 11a.m. Interment is in Hollywood Cemetery, Union, N.J. Born in Newark, N.J., Blanche was a resident of Maplewood for 73 years. She worked in the records department at Prudential Insurance Co. in Newark from 1942 to 1947 and then was a sales associate at Bloomingdale's in Short Hill, N.J., from 1969 to 1994. Blanche was a past member of the Altar Guild of Christ Lutheran Church in Maplewood, a Girl Scout leader and past treasurer of the North Jersey Rose Society.
She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Alfred J. Kucinski. Blanche is survived by her children, Linda Barnes and her husband, Gordon, Susan Langan and her husband, Russell; grandchildren, Christopher Barnes and his wife, Taryn, Jennifer Taylor and her husband, Adam; great-grandsons, Cooper and Jack Barnes, and brother, Walter Ulicny.
