THORNE - Paul died on 7th July 2019. A warm, benevolent man whose sharp wit kept Anne, Nick, Jon, John B, Debs and Esme on their toes. A loving and encouraging "Uncle Paul" for Joshua, Arran, Ethan and Nyah. A lifeline in time of need for Jane, Helen and Brendan. He was generous, supportive, always ready to listen, never to criticise, offering his wise guidance to colleagues as they coped with a rapidly changing business world. A kind and gentle presence, (except to wasps) coping with his absence will be a challenge. He requested a private family farewell with "the least fuss possible".
