Beloved wife, devoted mother and cherished grandmother
Clara Palma (nee Samassimo), 78, of Bloomfield, N.J., passed away on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019, at her home.
Visiting will be held on Sunday, Sept. 8 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main St. in West Orange from 4 to 8 p.m. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept. 9 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, N.J.
Clara was born and raised in Italy before moving to Bloomfield in 1969. She worked for Mountainside Hospital in housekeeping in Glen Ridge, N.J. She was a member of the House Workers Union No.1199.
Clara was the beloved wife of the late Vincenzo Palma, devoted mother of Gabriella Palma and Anthony Palma and his wife, Michelle; cherished grandmother of Claudia, Alexandra, Vicenza, Anthony Jr., Danielle, and Michele; and loving great-grandmother of Aubree and Emmie.
