MOORE, Betty Sue Betty Sue Moore was born March 22, 1928 in Garner, Texas. She went to Heaven on August 15, 2019 at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by parents Rebye Irene Nash and Alford Persian Brownlee. She graduated from Sunset High School and attended Arlington College for several years. She was a whiz at math and tutored many members of the football team. She later retired from Texas Instruments. She was married to Thomas Jefferson Massey (b.1926-d.1962) in Rockwall, Texas in 1948 until his death in 1962. He worked as a Geologist in the oil fields and traveled to many states. In 1973 she married James Carey Moore, Jr. (b. 1930-d. 1993) a retired Gunny Seargent in the Marines who served several tours in Korea and Vietnam until his death in 1993. She is survived by daughter Susan Massey Hiegel and son-in-law Robert Vincent Hiegel Sr. They have four children Robert Vincent Hiegel Jr. (Susanne), Christopher Lee Hiegel (Shannon), Katharyn Hiegel and Cari Lynn Hiegel Lacroix (Corby). Other close family friends are Terri Lane, Olga Batres, and Edith Tavira. Also survived by son Thomas Lee Massey Sr. (Christina Timlin b. 1957-d. 2013). They also have four children Bridie Christina Massey Dick (Robert), Jenny Lee Massey, Elaine Marie Massey (Tom) and Thomas Lee Massey Jr. She has great grandkids Ashlyn Maureen Hiegel, Ryan James Hiegel, Colten Lee Hiegel (Logan), John Weston Hiegel, Emma Jo Hiegel, Jacob Dean LaCroix, Abigail Katharyn LaCroix, Kate Leighann LaCroix, Katelynn Marie Dick, Kathryn Victoria Dick, Robyn Marie Dick, Isabeall Bridie Dick, Angelina Christina Dick, Hailie Violet Dick, Robert John Dick, Joseph Nathaniel Dick, John Luke Dick, Julien Massey, Seven Massey, Thomas Lee Massey III. She will be missed by all. Gravesite services to be held Saturday August 31 at 1pm at Laurel Land Cemetery.
