BUATT, Annette Cain Annette Cain Buatt passed away peacefully on August 22, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. A memorial service will be held on August 30th at 4:00 PM at Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Dallas followed by a reception at the church. She was born on November 3,1936 in Golden Meadow, Louisiana to Elmer and Ann Cain, and in 2nd grade, her family moved to Lafayette, Louisiana. She graduated from Lafayette High School and went to LSU where she met her husband Bobby on a blind date in the spring of 1957. After graduation, Annette moved to Dallas to become flight attendant for American Airlines, and in 1966, she and Bobby were married. Strong and empathetic, gracious and caring, a woman of deep faith are just a few words that best describe Annette. She was a consummate hostess who loved throwing parties and simply being with people for any occasion. She had a flair for design, from the ideal wall color to the perfectly coordinated outfit, and had an innate sense for what truly looked the best. Above all, Annette was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be deeply missed by her family. Annette is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Ann Cain; her sister Catherine Cain Tittle; brother Charlie Cain; and sister-in-law Ann Buatt Cole. She is survived by her husband Bobby Buatt; daughter Aimee Trumpower; son-in-law Ian Trumpower; granddaughters Millie and Pippa; brother Don Cain and many nieces whom she loved dearly.
