Ann Misdom
Died
Ann (aka Bambi) Misdom, 83, passed away peacefully July 23, 2019 in Dallas, TX, with her loving husband by her side.
She was born 1936 in Ft. Knox, KY to Col. Bertrand Morrow and Beatrice Stultz. Ann is survived by her husband Walter, whom she married 1957 in Westfield, NJ; son Richard (wife Mary) of Dallas, TX; son Robert (wife Anna) of Marietta, GA; daughter Elizabeth (partner Mark) of South Salem, NY; daughter Margaret (husband James) of Exeter, NH; grandchildren Abby, Hilary, Monica, Jack and Graham; sister-in-law Irene and her four children.
Ann grew up as an army brat, living at military bases while her father was on duty, graduated 1954 from Tudor Hall (Park Tudor) School in Indiana, and attended Vassar College. She was active in student government and theatre while in school and a perfectionist at English grammar.
Ann raised her children in Dover, MA and then lived over 35 years in Wilton, CT before moving to Dallas with her husband. Ann enjoyed spending time with family and friends and puttering in the yard. She was a "people person" and used her social skills working earlier in life at retail stores such as Bonwit Teller in NYC (with a keen eye for fashion as a personal shopper) and later as receptionist at Coldwell Banker Relocation Services in CT. Ann was also very much an animal person, devoted to her dogs throughout life (most recently American Eskimos Max and Sasha) as much as the rest of her family.
Funeral service will be held at St. Monica Catholic Church in Dallas, TX on Aug. 2, 2019, 10 am. The family suggests donations be made in memory of Ann to () in lieu of flowers.
