Arturo Pintado, 56, of Elizabeth, N.J., passed away Monday Aug. 5, 2019, surrounded by his loving family at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, Elizabeth.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral at the Corsentino Home For Funerals, 620 Second Ave., corner of John St., Elizabeth, on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019, at 8:15 a.m., thence to St. Anthony of Padua Church, Elizabeth, where at 9:30 a.m., a Funeral Mass will be offered. Viewing will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Rosedale Cemetery Linden, N.J.
Arturo was born in Lima, Peru, and in 1989, he moved to Bloomfield, N.J. He married the love of his life, Maria Pilar, on Dec. 8, 1990. They lived in Rahway, N.J., before moving to Elizabeth.
Arturo was employed by the City of Elizabeth, Department of Public Works, since 2007. He was an avid soccer fan of Alianza Lima.
He was a member for over 30 years of the Hermandad Senor De Los Milagros Segunda Cuadrilla De Elizabeth.
A loving and devoted husband, father and brother, Arturo is survived by his beloved wife, Pilar (nee Atalaya); cherished children, Anthony, Jennifer and Jessica; brother, Walter, and sisters, Nancy, Lidia, Gabriela, Doris, Sonia and Lourdes. He was predeceased by his parents, Ysoe and Carmen Pintado.
